Creekside Co-op respects the privacy of participating families. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and the choices available to you.
Information we collect
When a caregiver registers, we may collect the caregiver’s name, email address, mobile number, child name and age, emergency contact information, allergies or accessibility needs, registration choices, and consent records. We collect this information from caregivers, not directly from children.
How we use information
- Reserve and manage a family’s place at a gathering.
- Share private arrival details and important schedule or weather updates.
- Send email or SMS messages a caregiver has requested.
- Support participant safety and respond appropriately in an emergency.
- Maintain records of consent and comply with applicable requirements.
Mobile information and SMS consent
Mobile numbers and SMS consent records are used only to send Creekside Co-op messages that a caregiver explicitly requests. Message frequency varies, up to two messages per week. Message and data rates may apply. You can reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help.
We do not sell, rent, or share mobile numbers or SMS consent information with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. We may use service providers only as needed to deliver our communications and operate the website; they may not use this information for their own marketing.
Other sharing
We may disclose information when required by law, to protect the safety or rights of participants, or to contact emergency services. Exact gathering locations are shared privately with registered families and are not published on the website.
Retention and your choices
We retain registration and consent records only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described above. You may ask to review, correct, or delete your information, subject to records we must retain for legal or safety reasons. SMS consent may be withdrawn at any time by replying STOP.
